Jail and Sheriff Records
The Hunt County Sheriff and Detention Center share the Stuart Street location, but their phone lines serve different needs. For an existing release document, use the Sheriff’s open-record route rather than asking a general search provider to create a record.

Choose the Right Route
Each source answers a different question. Start with the smallest official channel that holds the desired record.
- For a named former detainee and release record, use the home search and records path.
- For supervision after release, use Parole & Probation.
- For a recent county booking episode, use the 24-Hour Release List method.
- For a state-prison date, use Projected Release Date; for alerts, use the VINELink Check page.
- For this county jail, use the Hunt County Detention Center link in the footer.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator.
